Our
Story
What began as a response to community need has evolved into a creative enterprise celebrating neurodiversity, craft, and connection.

AFC & Co originally launched in 2019 as a rideshare service in Northern New Hampshire during the COVID-19 pandemic, addressing critical transportation needs when public transit was limited. As traditional transit options reopened and community needs shifted, the rideshare service naturally concluded—but the AFC & Co vision endured.
​
In Summer 2023, AFC & Co was reborn with renewed purpose. The launch of the Besties, Bikes & Brews Podcast and the early drafts of The Neurodivergent Bartender marked a pivotal transformation from service provider to creative platform. What emerged was something far more meaningful: a space where neurodivergent perspectives, mixology artistry, and authentic storytelling converge.

Today, AFC & Co stands as a multifaceted creative brand centered on The Neurodivergent Bartender series—a groundbreaking collection of cocktail books, stories, and experiences that celebrate neurodiversity through the lens of craft bartending. We've created a unique niche where mixology meets advocacy, where every recipe tells a story, and where being different isn't just accepted—it's celebrated.
